Fiery Jack returns to the Castle as part of our Jubilee Garden Festival. Come along and watch his spectacular Show and then try out your skills at one of his Circus Workshops.

Leominster Festival
The Festival proper starts with a talk by the well known cricketer Allan Lamb, in conversation with Brian Viner. You will have the opportunity to hear John Craig Innes, "the People’s Tenor", so called from his joy of performing in the streets to entertain the public.
By popular demand, we welcome back The Dutch Lewis Broadband and The Temperance Seven, before seeing our old friends the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra, who have been appearing in the Festival since its inception in 1980. Also under our umbrella is the event to round off the Festival, a lecture by Roger Nichols on Debussy in lovely St. Andrew's Church in Leinthall Earls.

Linton Music Festival
2012 Linton Festival® will be held on 15-16-17 June in the grounds of the Alma Inn. We have now completed the line-up for 2012 and have booked Vintage Trouble (as Friday headline) and The Grand Slambovians (Gandalf Murphy) from USA, King Mo from Holland, currently one of the hottest guitar led bands on the European circuit and 24 Pesos (a hot tip from Mr Paul Jones himself!). Also added Oli Brown (young fast rising blues guitarist) and Eric Bell, founder member and original Thin Lizzy guitarist.
Virtuoso young female guitarist Chantel McGregor is now confirmed, be sure to catch her future session on Paul Jones' Radio 2 show.
After delivering a fantastic set at the 2011 event, we are pleased to confirm Bernie Marsden will return as Saturday headline for 2012. Check the Bands page for further news of what Bernie will be bringing to the festival!
Larry Miller, King King (feat. Alan Nimmo), Cadillac Kings, Mustangs, Stratus and Red River Blues have all now been added to complete our full line up.
Finally, now confirmed as Sunday headline Earl Thomas with Paddy Milner and the Big Sounds. This promises to be a fantastic finish to the weekend! The full 9-piece band are currently on top form!

Herefordshire Walking Festival
The Herefordshire Walking Festival runs for 9 days – organised walks to suit every level of fitness including Electric Mobility Vehicle users. There are walks for the Very Energetic walker too.
17th June
Arrow Cycle Ride – Berrington Hall
Join in on either a 100k or 65k undulating cycle ride. The event will offer a fully marked road course taking in the rolling roads of Herefordshire. Booking essential.

A Walk to Long Fridays – Berrington Hall
Enjoy a ranger-led walk up to Long Friday. Enjoy stunning views over Berrington Hall – approx. 3 miles. Meet at visitor reception – Adults £3.00 / children free.

Ancient Tree Walk – Croft Castle
Croft is home to hundres of ancient trees, towering majestically over the parkland. Explore the woodlands on this ranger-led walk and discover how long they’ve been here and why they were planted. – Adults £3.00 / children free.

Shobdon Food & Flower Festival
This year, the Food Festival coincides with the re-opening of Shobdon’s unusual Strawberry Hill Gothic church with its ‘wedding cake’ interior, which will have been closed for extensive maintenance work for over a year. To mark the reopening, the Hereford Cathedral choir will be singing in a choral Evensong service on the evening of Sunday the 24th of June to close the weekend.
The event also coincides with the tri-annual Flower Festival in Shobdon meaning the church will be filled with stunning floral arrangements that have, over the last three decades, become a big draw in themselves

Meet the Bats – The Weir
Armed with a bat detector, head out into the garden with our range on an evening walk to see what bat species you can spot swooping around. Adults £5.00 / Children £2.50. Booking essential.

Take a guided factory tour and see skilled craftsmen at work as they made their bespoke sports cars. Lots to see and do, but pre-booking is essential.
