French Mediterranean

The dazzling coastline of the French Mediterranean is famous for its chic coastal towns and for being the playground of the rich and famous. It is one of the world’s great holiday destinations and a place that everyone should visit at least once!

The beautiful beaches and the romantic glamour of Monte-Carlo, Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez are however, only a small part of the story. Venture inland into the hills of Languedoc and Provence and here you’ll find charming villages, quiet historic towns, working vineyards and beautiful lavender fields.

Whatever kind of camping holiday you are looking for, the French Mediterranean has it all.

From the Languedoc-Roussillion in the west, to the Côte d’Azur in the east, we have eight Club selected sites to choose from.French Med

Le Haras is a delightful, smaller campsite where you can escape the busy coastal resorts and relax amongst the luxuriant plant and tree life that abounds on site. The town of Palau is just a few hundred yards away and onsite facilities include outdoor pools and family activities.

Facilities at the welcoming family site at Ma Prairie include a swimming pool complex, play area and sport courts. Day trips are also arranged to local places of interest. The site is situated right by the village of Canet-en-Roussillon and it is just a short drive down to the sea front and harbour.

The well maintained La Nautique site certainly lives up to its name. It is situated right at the side of a lake, just slightly inland from the beach and it also has its own swimming pool. Windsurfing is popular here as are day trips to local vineyards and the medieval town of Carcassonne.

The family friendly site at Fleur de Camargue is a quieter alternative to the busier coastal sites. Although it will be hard to leave behind the fantastic onsite facilities (which include a great pool complex), the site is ideally placed for an array of excursions and activities such as bike rides along the nearby canal, trips to Montpellier, spotting flamingos in the Camargue and exploring the beautiful Languedoc countryside.

In a truly great location near the Gulf of St. Tropez, Holiday Marina is both close to the famous coastal resort and a number of charming hillside villages. The great range of facilities at this comfortable and modern campsite (which includes a quality swimming pool and paddling pool) make it the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.

Les Pins Parasols is an ideal family campsite and perfectly placed for discovering the delights of the Riviera and Provence. The beach is within easy driving distance but the great range of onsite facilities, which includes a swimming pool with waterslide, will make it hard for you to leave.
