The 51st Europa Rally will be organised by Les Campeurs d’Alsace Franche-Comtė Lorraine, between 24-28 May 2012, at Camping Le Lac des Varennes in the Sarthe Region of France at Marçon, the heart of the Loire valley.
The first Europa Rally was held in Luxembourg in 1961 and, since then, has been hosted by a different camping and caravanning club in Europe each year and, in its history, has taken place in a total of 13 different countries.
Services offered by the Rally include catering and a bar every evening from 1900. There will be a grocer’s shop in the reception area with local wine, regional products and fresh bread and croissants and similar products every morning to order. Throughout the Rally there will be a programme of evening entertainment and three excursions available to book to the Chateaux de Blois and Chambord, to Le Mans and a half day trip around the “Land of Art and History” in Perche Sarthois. The usual “Parade in traditional costumes” will take place through the streets of Marçon.
If booked before 15 April 2012 the cost of the rally for a unit plus two adults and all children under 18 is €110.00 with extra adults (over 18) being charged €60.00 per person. A single adult plus a unit will cost €90.00. These prices will increase slightly after 15 April 2012.
