Spiers House Campsite
Located within the stunning scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors, Spiers House campsite and caravanning park is a delightful location for short breaks or longer family holidays.
The whole site is encircled by the lush conifers of Cropton Forest and here you can choose between an open field setting (with plenty of space for the kids to play) and a more secluded location shaded by the trees.
A Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award winner, this site has something for everyone. Explore the woods along an array of footpaths and cycle routes or simply put your feet up and relax.
The more adventurous will be off for hikes through the forest and up into the moors, and if you’re lucky enough to stay on a clear night, you’ll be treated to an unrivalled view of the stars.
For days out, Spiers House is also short drive away from historic York or to take the sea air at Scarborough and Whitby.
Fun and informative Ranger Activities take place on-site during the summer months and all the family will enjoy learning more about the forest and its flora, fauna and wildlife.
Dogs are welcome on site and there are toilet and shower blocks to hand. There’s also a shop where you can pick up all your essentials as well as treating yourself to croissants, pasties and pizzas.
