Nominate your favourite site for CS of the Year and be entered into our monthly prize draw!
We rely on members’ feedback – that’s why we’ve decided to give you more choice when you vote for your favourite sites. From January 2012, you’ll be able to nominate a CS in any of the following categories:
- Best New CS
- Best Hideaway CS
- Best CS for Families
- Best Friendly Club Welcome at a CS
An overall winner will be selected from these categories and named CS of the Year 2012.
You can send us your feedback in a number of ways:

- Complete the form at the back of Your Big Sites Book and send it to the address above
We can only accept one nomination per member per site, but you can nominate as many sites as you want. Every time a site is nominated, they’ll receive a “Member Recommended” rosette.
With every nomination, you’ll be entered into our monthly prize draw to win a Safari Chef Barbecue. This prize comes courtesy of Calor, the UK’s leading LPG supplier of propane and butane gas.
Best CS 2011
Brook House Farm Certificated Site has won the prestigious Best CS award for the second time in four years. The site was nominated by members of The Camping and Caravanning Club in 2011 after first winning the accolade in 2007.
The Certificated Site (CS) is in Middlewich, Cheshire in a secluded, rural location, but within easy reach of the region’s towns and cities.
Members’ reviews describe the site as “very clean and tidy and well laid out”, with one member saying, “It was a real joy to have stayed here”. Also rated highly was the “warm and friendly” welcome from the site’s owners, Alison and Adrian Smith.

Competition Terms and Conditions:
- Our CS of the Year competition is open to Camping and Caravanning Club members only
- Although you can enter as many individual CSs as you wish, we can only allow one vote per site per household
- The CS of the Year award winner will not be eligible for further awards for three years
- CSs nominated for the ‘Best New CS’ category are those published between editions of the Your Big Sites Book.
- Employees of the Club, owners of CSs or their families may not enter
- No cash alternatives are offered
- The judges’ decision is final and no telephone enquiries or further correspondence will be entered into
