Lee Valley Campsite 2012

The Club has signed an agreement with Lee Valley Regional Park Authority to operate an event campsite during July and August 2012 at the WaterWorks Nature Reserve and Golf Centre in Leyton, East London.

The site is within a 10-minute walk of the Olympic Park and is believed to be the closest campsite to the venue. The event campsite, which will run from Friday, July 20, 2012 to Thursday, August 16, 2012, will boast 320 pitches, offer full camping facilities and provide onsite catering.

The pitch fee will be £45 a night, based on a minimum three-night stay, and Club rules will apply whilst staying on site. The site will be open to members and non-members.

Low Emissions Zone

Please be advised the Lee Valley campsite falls within the London Low Emissions Zone, which charges certain types of vehicles for entering the zone, that exceed the set emissions limits. All campers are advised to see if they are affected by this prior to booking. To find out if your vehicle / unit are likely to be affected please visit the Transport for London website or call 0845 607 0009.

Campsite Services and Facilities

Café – food and drink will be available from 6am to 10pm
TVs – if you missed out on tickets for the Games, you don’t need to miss out on the action as we will have TVs on site showing the latest events
Bar – our licensed bar will serve refreshments between 11am and 11pm
On site activities – a range of family and nature activities will be available on-site to keep you entertained

Wed: 10am – 7pm
Thu – Fri: 8am – 8pm
Sat: 9am – 1pm (Jan to Aug only)

There is also still availability at Gravesend / Old Gravesendians Rugby Clubs (247 pitches), Culverstone Recreation Ground (221 pitches) and Westlands Playing Fields in the London Borough of Havering (430 pitches).
